HOW IT WORKS.

How do you find my car?

Our service pros head straight to your parking spot when you pin your location in the app. We confirm it’s you based on the vehicle details you provide (make, model, license plate, etc.)

How do you access my gas tank to fill it?

Just pop your fuel tank door before you head inside! If someone closes it, we’ll reach out via text message to let you know.

How do I know when Low Fuel has delivered my gas?

We will shoot you an email and a text when your boost is complete.

What do I do if I need to leave or move my car?

Simply edit your location in the app or cancel your order — no charge it’s prior to the driver in route!

How do I know the quantity is correct?

Our trucks have approved Weights and Measures pumps, just like the ones at gas stations. Our pumps are regularly calibrated to make sure we deliver the correct quantity every time.

When do you deliver?

Monday through Saturday 6:00 am – 10:00 PM. Sundays 8:00 am – 8:00 pm.

How do I pay?

Credit, debit, PayPal, and Apple Pay. Credit cards recognize us as a (mobile) gas station, so you can save time and earn points!

What types of gas do you offer?

Unleaded regular (87-octane) and unleaded premium (93-octane) gas. We hope to offer diesel soon!

How much gas do I get?

We always fill until your tank is full.

SAFETY.

How safe is Low Fuel?

Safety is our top priority and our standards are high. We work with officials in the communities we serve to ensure we are in compliance with all local ordinances. We have a perfect safety record, best-in-class liability insurance, and all required local and regional permits everywhere we operate.

Service professional safety?

Every service professional undergoes a thorough background check, completes rigorous safety training for hazardous materials, and has a commercial driver’s license.

Truck safety?

Our trucks are equipped with features built for the runway, yet perfect for maneuvering around a parking lot.

Do we need to allocate a section of the parking lot to Low Fuel?

Most of our campuses do not define specific locations for us, but you certainly can if you want to!

How is this safer than going to the gas station?

On average, 71% of Gas station pumps have viable microbes.

I’m an existing customer and the app still thinks I’m at the office. How do I fix that?

Open the app > Settings > Select “Change My Service Location” > type in the address of the Pop-up Gas Station OR simply select the arrow icon on the right to prompt your current location (location services must be enabled in your settings). Please text our Customer Support team at 44379 for more help.

When do you deliver?

Our schedule, listed above, is currently limited to select days and hours scheduled based on demand.

How much does it cost?

There are no service fees, and our dynamic prices are competitive to the local gas stations in the area.

What types of fuel do you offer?

We currently offer Unleaded Regular (87-octane) and Unleaded Premium (91-octane).

Can you check my tires, too?

We are sorry — we don’t do any additional services (tire checks, windshield washes, or wiper blade replacements) at these events.

How does payment work?

Once you enter your credit card information in the Low Fuel app (Profile > Payment), your order can be added to our route for service! You will receive a confirmation text when service is complete as well as an email receipt. Low Fuel uses Stripe for easy, encrypted card transactions. Stripe is an
industry-leading payment processor trusted by thousands of companies.

What is a pre-authorization?

A pre-authorization is a system check to confirm that the credit card is valid and that the customer has available funds to cover the transaction, similarly to what traditional gas stations and restaurants do.

What happens to the pre-authorization after I receive the service?

The pre-authorization is just a hold on your card. You will see the charge as pending in your bank account, you will only pay for the full cost of the service, and then the pre-auth will disappear after 24-48 hours depending on your bank.

What are the exact amounts that are used?

The pre-authorization amount varies and is based on the actual price of the service ordered.
